Make
a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and
rejoice, and sing praise.
Psalm 98-4
Lord,
you know how bad I croak
each time I try to sing a note
Still you make my heart rejoice
And though I have no singing voice
To sing of how much I love you,
To praise you for the things you do
(And cannot praise you with much poise)
I worship you with joyful noise.
I've wanted so to make you proud
So I'd just sing out very loud
Those lovely hymns of praise to you
To thank you for the things you do.
Knowing that you'd understand
But what about my fellow man?
(Somehow they seem not to enjoy)
My efforts at a joyful noise.
What
can I do,what can I say
I'm gonna praise you, anyway
For you have saved me from the brink
And it matters not what others think.
You've sheltered me with loving care
And I can trust you're always near.
I love you, Lord, so I rejoice
And worship you with joyful noise (and croaking voice).
Gleefully
