Doctor Doctor need you quick
These the words across your lips
Standing there in all his glory
Snoring as he hears the story

Nurse is busy chatting fast
"All My Children" news forecast
Patient screaming for so long
Wondering what in world is wrong

Can I help you with a frown
Please just try to keep it down
Patient says "Hey I am sick"
Nurse replies "get over it"

What a place for you to be
All weighed down in misery
Please get well and do it fast
Days are numbered you won't last

Ask to speak to orderly
He no understand you see
Keep your fingers crossed each day
Till the wheelchair comes your way

Time to make that great big dash
But first stop off to pay them cash
Get in car and wave good-bye
You made it through ~ and so have I.
