He Touched Me

One of the good things in life...knowing God really does love me.

I have a story to share.

God spoke to me in September of 94 when my life felt empty.
He came to me in a dream. It was dark, then the presence of a light surrounded me.  There was an awareness of someone walking beside me, yet I was unable to look upon it.  This presence showed me our feet. Mine were without shoes, His were in sandals. Both of us walked several paces before the realization of who it was occured to me.  I know, for the brief moment we walked together, He said we were in step.

The overwhelming feeling of His love can not be matched in this world.
What a glorious time we will have when we are able to spend all eternity embraced in His most abundant love.

I woke, sat straight up in bed and praised Him.

This is a true story, written between the pages of my Bible.
It has been shared with many and now I share it with you.
The spirit which dwells within, what a marvelous being.

Thank you for developing these pages. We will meet, if not in this world, surely in His.

I received the above message as a guest book entry from someone I have never met. As I read Jo Anna's testimony of God's unconditional love for her, it was almost as if I could hear the rush of Angels wings. I felt His presence surround me so strongly that it was almost physical.

He Touched Me.

Christ has been in my life for a very long time, but at that moment , I was filled with such joy that I could not help but praise Him.

Jo Anna spoke of an 'empty' life before she began her walk with Jesus. Many of us feel that same emptiness and we try to fill it with many things.....money, power, possesions, alcohol, drugs, sex ...then more money, power possesions,alcohol, drugs and sex. Yet the feeling that something is missing in our life remains.

Because our sin has separated us from God, we have been left with a "God-shaped vacuum" or spiritual emptiness. It's a vacuum that can only be filled with God's love.

YOU need to know that GOD LOVES YOU... no matter how undeserving you may feel of that love.
John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."

Now THAT'S a whole bunch of love!

I have four children and five grandkids. Believe me...I know the depths of the love a parent has for a child.

My oldest son is 40 years old. When he was 18 his drug addiction led to armed robbery, which led him to the Oregon State Penitentiary. He's been out for about eight years now...but not free. There are worse prisons than a jail cell, and his is heroin.

His is not the lifestyle that a mother wishes for her child. But I love him with all my heart, and as much as I love God, if He told me, right this minute, that I could save the world by allowing my boy to be killed, I really don't think the world would stand much of a chance at salvation.

Yet God loved his children here on earth so much that he was willing to allow Jesus to be ridiculed, humiliated, tortured and finally to die nailed to a cross as a sacrifice for OUR sins. MY SINS...YOUR SINS. And the only thing we have to do to reap the benefit of His great sacrifice is to believe in Him. To believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that he died so that we might be saved.

Doesn't seem like much of a price for eternal life with God, does it?

John 14:27 says "I am leaving you with a gift---peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid."

I wish His peace for you....
