It comes from deep within
Sacred words of many
Our guidance will begin

Grapes of life that offer
Fruit upon the vine
Each one of us a vessel
That captures vintage wine

Carefully we harvest
Gifts in life we share
To give each one a purpose
We raise our heads in prayer

Offerings of sustenance
Within this life we need
Upon the words of many
In gratitude we feed

Food for the soul
Within this life we give
Sharing with each other
Truths by which we live.
