The times you
may have thought
That life is not so grand
And life’s a deck of cards
You’re dealt a dirty hand
When all the cards are dealt
The plays are all set down
Only the survivor
Will win the final round
Life has
countless trials
That come along the way
The world, is composed of
Different paths, tricky plays
When all the cards are dealt
The plays are all set down
Two to one the Joker
Will win the final round
Dissimilar
people
Having opposing views
Some, they are the fighters
The others never chose
When all the cards are dealt
The plays are all set down
The brave and the wiser
Will win the final round
Many, take the
short roads
Few will go all the way
Waiting the next battle
While the weak shy away
When the final curtain
Draws closer to the ground
One taking the long road
Will still stand tall and proud
The jokers may
be few
And a gamble but yet
Unlike a King or Queen
They are the better bet
When all the cards are dealt
The plays are all set down
Two to one the Joker
Will win the final round
Sitting in the
back ground
Within the decks of life
Jokers are survivors
They protect weaker life
When the final curtain
Draws closer to the ground
Only the survivor
Will still stand tall and proud
