Count On The Shephred


Lord, I've tried to count my blessing,
But now, I must confess...
The pain within this body
Has caused my soul unrest.
And I know that Satan's waiting
to take advantage of...
Just a single second
That I might doubt your love.
So my prayer to you, Dear Savior,
My most urgent request...
Is that you'll continue to remind me
How much I have been blessed.
And I ask you, to stamp forever
John 3:16 within my mind.
"For God so loved the world..."
What greater love than thine?
When the night sometimes seem endless
And pain is robbing me of sleep...
Remind me to count upon the Shepherd
Instead of counting sheep.
