I am an old woman with wrinkled skin,  and age spots now line hands that were once soft.

I am an old woman with crows-feet, and stiff joints that once danced until dawn.

I am an old woman whose heart has beat a million times over the years and who is still capable of blushing,
of sweating behind the knees, 
of having my heart do somersaults whenever I see you.

I am a woman the world has classified as old, yet the world is wrong. 
Love is ageless, 
Love is timeless, 
Love is without boundaries and without walls.

Love is not for just the young, Love is for everyone, 
even those whose hair is gray, whose eyesight has diminished and those who don't move as quickly as they did before.

I am an old woman in love, 
and the world cannot take that from me.
